We have periodic Mission Meals after worship service throughout the year. Money raised from these dinners help support the following missions and more.
Missions and agencies we support regularly:

 is an Appalachian community that seeks to provide for families with practically no means and very little hope for the future. First Church mission groups have traveled to Henderson over the years to repair houses, process sorghum, assist in food preservation, the food pantry, and other work. First Church also makes monetary contributions throughout the year. |
 has been working for 60 years to erase outward signs of poverty in the Jackson, Kentucky region by making brand-name apparel, toys and household items available to everyone. The date of the mission truck's arrival at First Church is announced a few days in advance. |
 Youth For Christ The mission of Youth for Christ is to participate in the body of Christ in responsible evangelism of youth, presenting them with the person, work and teachings of Christ and bringing them into the local church.

| Lawrence Interfaith Endeavor - LIFE Food pantry, also provides assistance with rent, utilities, and budget counseling. For more information call the Bedford office at 279-4442 and the Mitchell office at 849-2111. |
