Meet our pastor and his family.

Rev. Tim Ahlemeyer

We are proud to introduce our pastor and his family.  They come to us from nearby Daviess County, Indiana.  Rev. Ahlemeyer officially began his duties on June 1, 2006.

Rev. Ahlemeyer received a Master of Divinity Degree from the United Theological Seminary located in Dayton, Ohio.  Prior to attending seminary, he received a Bachelor's Degree at Indiana Wesleyan University in Business Management.  He also holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Ivy Tech State College.  Rev. Ahlemeyer's broad educational background is a true blessing for our church.

Our new pastor is also an accomplished sportsman.  He enjoys a 14 handicap in golf, has a respectable 145 average in bowling, and also finds time to enjoy tennis and racquetball.  He enjoys board games of all types.  Rumor has it that he is pretty good on the guitar as well.  Throw in Bridge, Hearts, Spades, Canasta, Pinochle, and Euchre too . . . he does it all.

He gives us a little insight into his philosophy in his stated mission:  Win the Lost, Celebrate the found, Comfort the afflicted, and Set the captive Free.  The vision he sees for himself is:  Committed to Christ - Ordained to Serve.

The pastor's wife, Joy, is currently the pastor of Harrodsburg United Methodist Church.  She also serves as Youth Pastor at Bedford First.  She is working toward completion of her Bachelor's Degree with a calling toward the Order of Deacons in the Church.

The Ahlemeyers have two children.  Son Clayton and daughter Echo are both college students.
